Services

A more consistent hotel guest experience

Oversight of service standards in an independent hotel, within an agreed scope. It does not mean taking over reception or every guest contact.

When service varies between touchpoints

A guest meets several teams. Without a shared reference, each area handles that contact in its own way. The discussion defines which moments are in scope and who remains responsible.

Defining the scope of guest experience support

These points organise the discussion. None of them is included until it is written into the partnership.

Service standards

Shared references for service at the property. They are not a guarantee of satisfaction or of review scores.

Coordination between departments

How information moves between teams. It does not mean Feathers takes over reception or guest contact.

Available guest feedback

A reading of what the hotel already collects, with permission. Replying to complaints or online reviews is not included by default.

Priorities for review

What is reviewed first. The team already at the hotel stays in place unless the partnership says otherwise.

Clear responsibility for guest contact

Reviewing the guest experience does not authorise service, channels, hours or compensation that have not been assigned. A satisfaction level cannot be inferred from the existence of this oversight.

From the hotel's context to agreed standards

The sequence is the one on the Approach page. Here it only marks what this discussion settles.

  1. Understand the touchpoints

Identify the guest contacts the owner wants to review.

  2. Agree scope and responsibilities

State who delivers, who reviews and what needs approval.

  3. Work with the existing structure

Work with the hotel's teams. That does not mean employing them or replacing management.

  4. Review signals and priorities

Review what was agreed. Sources, indicators and frequency are set in the partnership.

Questions about guest experience

Does Feathers take over reception and guest communication?
Not from this page. Service, channels, hours and responsibilities exist only if the partnership defines them.
Does the service include complaints and online review responses?
Not automatically. Replies, reviews and compensation need their own assignment and limits.
Can the hotel's existing team be involved?
Yes. Coordination respects the people already responsible. It does not mean employing them or replacing the hotel's management.
